Christenson Cattle Company LLC is a family-owned cattle operation built on purpose, passion, and premium genetics. Located in Linden, Iowa just west of Des Moines, our family’s commitment to excellence guides every aspect of our program.

 

Our story began in 2014 with a single Registered Miniature Hereford purchased at the Iowa State Fair. What started as a small dream quickly evolved into a focused breeding program driven by quality, integrity, and a vision for advancing the Miniature Hereford breed. With limited acreage, we knew we needed a breed that aligned with our land and our goals. Miniature Herefords became the perfect fit and ultimately, the foundation of a program we are incredibly proud of today.

Over the years, Christenson Cattle Company has placed elite cattle into the hands of breeders and show families across the United States. Our genetics are built through intentional mating decisions, elite sires and dams, and the strategic use of AI, embryo transfer, and IVF. Every calf, every pairing, and every investment is made with a singular focus: creating cattle that elevate our customers’ programs.
